I came across this morning offering written by St. Therese and I absolutely love it. Since my visit to the National Shrine and Museum of St. Therese in Darien, IL (you can read more about my visit here), I’ve been spending more time reading about her and the things that she has written. I found this Morning Offering prayer and it perfectly encapsulates what I want to say to God in the morning. Some days all I have to give is the beat of my heart, my thoughts (which aren’t always that great) and simple works. The beautiful thing is that God can take even that minuscule offering and turn it into something wonderful.
