Relics of the True Cross Available for Public Veneration in the United States

The Feast of St. Helena, who discovered the true cross upon with Jesus was crucified, is August 18 (traditional calendar).  There are several locations in the United States that have relics of the true cross available for public veneration.  Veneration of the relics of the true cross honors St. Helena for making this powerful reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made available to us.

Queen of All Saints Basilica – Chicago, Illinois – 150 relics, including the true cross

St. Mary’s Academy Relic Chapel – St. Mary, Kansas – over 400 relics, including the true cross

Shrine of the True Cross – Dickinson, Texas – shrine dedicated to the veneration of the true cross
