St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York is the largest gothic-style cathedral in the United States. It contains several altars and side chapels and the Pieta is three times largerthan the Pieta in St. Peter’s, Rome. Previous Archbishops of New York are buried in a crypt under the high altar.
